Today is Saturday. Yesterday was Friday. Tomorrow is Sunday. Like many people, me and my family will "go to church" tomorrow morning. We will gather with other folks, sing some songs, repeat some liturgy, hear a preacher, eat an after-church "fellowship" meal and go home.
BUT, will we be affected? What do I mean? Good question. I mean - will we be changed or different because we "went to church?" Will we have a closer walk with Jesus because we "attended church?" Will we have more of a sense of community with other believers? Will we be any different after the sermon than before? Will I be the same Jeff when I leave the building as when I entered?
Does the way we do church really make a difference? Does the way we do church look anything like the way church looked in the Bible?
